Gloom of Kilforth: A Fantasy Quest Game Expansions
Created by Tristan Hall
Gloom of Kilforth is a game of high fantasy with a gothic edge, where 1-4 players, working individually or together, assume the roles of heroes on a journey through a dark world of magic and peril. Each player follows their hero’s tale, an epic saga from modest beginnings through to a climactic battle that will decide the fate of the world...

Hello you gorgeous peoples!
Your regular update will be coming very soon, but this is just a quick note to let you know that...
We're super excited to launch our fifth Kickstarter board game 'Shadows of Kilforth: A Fantasy Quest Game' and we'd love for you to check it out:
Australia will be landing at about the same time too, and China orders will be shipped locally as well so fingers crossed everyone should be getting theirs at around the same time.
BUT before you go charging off to your local shipping port all like...
... PLEASE remember that these dates are estimates, and that it takes a week or two for the games to clear from the boats into our fulfilment warehouses after they've arrived at port. Only at that point can we pack and ship them out to you, so...
The games are due to be landing in your hands throughout March.
This is great because it means they will land in your laps during the Kickstarter campaign for our next game and the fully compatible sequel to Gloom of Kilforth, Shadows of Kilforth: A Fantasy Quest Game (previously known as Touch of Death) which will be running throughout March also. We wanted to run this campaign a lot earlier for all the folks who have already backed Shadows and are still patiently waiting for it, but we've held off for as long as we could so that we can have these timings sync up and try to please as many peeps as possible.
And if you don't want to miss out on our future projects - because it's going to be one heck of a year at Hall or Nothing - make sure you become a subscriber through our website here:
Okay, so that's it from me for now. Even though February is the shortest month I get the feeling that in a way it's going to be the longest month this year. :D
Cheero, and happy gaming everybody - you are our favourite mofos!!

Happy New Year everybody!!
It's only a couple of days after new year so I think we can still get away with saying that...
A bit of a break from the norm for this update - we'll return to written ramblings for future updates - I've put together a 20 minute video telling you where we're up to and what to expect from Hall or Nothing in 2019. So when you get chance, grab a brew and maybe put a more interesting screensaver on to watch than my phizog whilst you catch up with us:
Have a brilliant 2019 everyone!
Gloom of Kilforth, December 2018 - Printing Underway!!

Howdy folks - I'll try to be brief so you can all get back to your holiday shenanigans, but we have some cool pics to share...
Printing has begun!!
I've approved the pre-production copies of everything, it all looks fantastic! And we're hoping to have printing wrapped up and on the boat in January, which means:
For delivery for all of your goodies we're aiming at Quarter 1, 2019.
There are plastic stands in there too but they're less exciting to photograph!
Shadows of Kilforth: February 2019!!
Now that the re-printing of GoK has begun, we're just a few short months away from the games and expansions finally arriving in your hands. We've also submitted the print files for our other game Lifeform, which will be landing in Quarter 1 next year too. And our second game 1066, Tears to Many Mothers has just landed in backers' hands to fantastic reviews too.
Next year we'll be launching 1565, St Elmo's Pay (the successor to 1066, TtMM) and Sublime Dark (a gruesome horror game), but first we need to tackle the issue of the 1,000+ of you who have already backed our sequel to Gloom of Kilforth, Shadows of Kilforth: A Fantasy Quest Game (previously known as Touch of Death).
So it is with delight and giddiness that I can tell you we're going to hit the launch button for our next game Shadows of Kilforth in February next year!
To those waiting for GoK first instead: that's totally cool too.
1,000+ people have already backed Shadows of Kilforth, and we owe them something truly beautiful already, so don't mind us whilst we crack on, and hopefully we'll see you in the pledge manager later on once you have your goodies.
So the pressure is instead on us to deliver Shadows of Kilforth to the many backers who have already made it happen. Therefore we're going to run a shorter Kickstarter, in a shorter month (Feb), with a lower funding goal, so that if enough of you do decide to show up we can roll in some juicy expansion content too. And if that happens we might see Pimp My Shadows, Dark Shadows, and Shadows: Encounters too...
