Gloom of Kilforth: A Fantasy Quest Game Expansions
Created by Tristan Hall
Gloom of Kilforth is a game of high fantasy with a gothic edge, where 1-4 players, working individually or together, assume the roles of heroes on a journey through a dark world of magic and peril. Each player follows their hero’s tale, an epic saga from modest beginnings through to a climactic battle that will decide the fate of the world...
Latest Updates from Our Project:
US/NA Backers Only - shipping this week

QML is due to commence shipping this week - they said:
“We have a couple of existing projects that were in house and ready to roll first that we're working diligently to get through... I know this is a bit disappointing, but I will keep you updated as we progress through these other projects in case we can get this commenced a bit sooner.”
So, not quite as soon as I was originally assured, and most annoyingly not before the Shadows of Kilforth campaign finished, but still only days away and it means parcels should be going out this week. Apologies for the delay, I ask for your continuing patience whilst US/NA fulfilment commences in full!

Greetings wanderers of Kilforth,
I hope this missive finds you delightfully well indeed! Let's get straight down to business...
The games are now being sorted and packed by our teams worldwide.
As you are likely aware, the fulfilment has commenced from Asia as they had a head-start on us, so many backers have already received their games there - huzzah!
The US/Canada hub has their games shipment and shipping data and are ready to go in the next day or two.
AU have advised that they've not received their copies yet - we've chased them again this morning for an update and will keep you informed.
And the UK shipment (which includes EU and RoW) was taken aside to be X-Rayed (because of course it was), and then it was emptied out for inspection by customs (because of course it was), but it has now cleared customs and has arrived at our warehouse this morning, hooray! Gamesquest are busy sorting and picking and packing the many thousands of boxes this week, and we are right at the top of their priority list as we meticulously booked this all in with them well in advance, so they should start leaving the warehouse at the start of next week. It's cutting it finer than I would have liked, but hey, they'll still be landing in March, and Gamesquest have delivered our last two Kickstarters smoothly and with very few issues, so we're happy!
Shadows of Kilforth Kickstarter Avatars
Roll up, roll up, come get your avatars for the Shadows of Kilforth Kickstarter!!
For those of you waiting until you receive Gloom of Kilforth before you check out Shadows, no problem at all: we're keeping the Kickstarter discounts for Shadows of Kilforth active in the pledge manager for you for up to a month after you receive your games so you'll have plenty of time to make up your minds.
And for those of you who do want to come and join the party, come and throw your dollar in here to follow the updates:
As with our previous game (1066, Tears to Many Mothers) which was fulfilled last year, Nuts Publishing and Schwerkraft Verlag are responsible for all of the fulfilment, shipping, and customer service for the French and German versions of Gloom of Kilforth respectively, so if you have any questions or queries at all about the French and German versions of the games contact Nuts Publishing or Schwerkraft directly using the methods below:
Australia will be landing at about the same time too, and China orders will be shipped locally as well so fingers crossed everyone should be getting theirs at around the same time.
BUT before you go charging off to your local shipping port all like...
... PLEASE remember that these dates are estimates, and that it takes a week or two for the games to clear from the boats into our fulfilment warehouses after they've arrived at port. Only at that point can we pack and ship them out to you, so...
The games are due to be landing in your hands throughout March.
This is great because it means they will land in your laps during the Kickstarter campaign for our next game and the fully compatible sequel to Gloom of Kilforth, Shadows of Kilforth: A Fantasy Quest Game (previously known as Touch of Death) which will be running throughout March also. We wanted to run this campaign a lot earlier for all the folks who have already backed Shadows and are still patiently waiting for it, but we've held off for as long as we could so that we can have these timings sync up and try to please as many peeps as possible.
And if you don't want to miss out on our future projects - because it's going to be one heck of a year at Hall or Nothing - make sure you become a subscriber through our website here:
